Mike was really thorough about explaining the hows and whys of the prices he places on your goods. He has an incredible amount of patience.He understands the seller’s need, so he does not rush you, nor try to coerce you. Instead, he encourages you to comprehend the deals you are both arranging together. I would recommend this place. There is truly no bull. He will actually tell you not to sell him something if he realizes the value of the item is way above what he could give you. Walked away feeling that this guy is fair! A true novelty in this kind of business.

I had a perfect experience with Mike at MCD Jewellery. I brought in some items, and Mike took the time to go over each item, describe its history and origin, and at no time did I feel rushed. Mark was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. I had originally purchased studs from a jewelry store in Scarborough Town Centre and was told that they were something that they weren’t. Everything was done before my eyes, they showed me the weight (which was less than the original store told me!) and the colour (they were YELLOW diamonds and I PAID for WHITE!). These two were professional and trustworthy. They will have my business for life. They worked with me and went the extra mile. I am very thankful that I trusted them and appreciate everything they did for me.

The key to a great jeweller is one that speaks honestly, has a great product, vast knowledge, and low pricing. Although rare, Mark at MCD manages to tick all of those boxes. For second hand gold or loose diamond purchases, it’d almost be foolish to go anywhere else. Worth the drive.

Approximately a week ago 5 minutes to closing Mike opened his doors for me not to entertain me but to teach me knowledge on the gem I brought in. Had a gold necklace for a few years, but had to let it go for various reasons. Never sold jewellery before so I was nervous that I’d be scammed. Mark was really kind and helpful when I asked him about the whole process of selling gold. Comfortable environment, friendly staff with tons of experience, I felt really assured I sold my necklace to them. Definitely recommend coming here to sell your jewellery.

I have known Mark and Mike for over 10 years. My wife and I have bought and sold jewellery pieces at MCD Jewellelley for ourselves our children and on occasion to offer as gifts, always feeling good about our purchase. Mark is a consummate professional an expert in his trade and most of all trustworthy and very accommodating. Furthermore, we have recommended MCD Jewellery to friends and family who in turn recommended Mark & Mike at MCD Jewellery to their own friends…One thing for certain, I always feel I am getting an outstanding value for the price.

I had to find the perfect engagement stone for my bride to be, I went to MARK at mcd I was told he can source the best quality stones for the best prices. I was looking for a very obscure stone a 3ct I didn’t want to break the bank but wanted something nice. Mark called me 2 weeks later he found a nice oval 3ct stone nice cut and color and the price was well below the wholesale market price. This was last year feb and since then if I had to replace what I purchased I was advised it would cost me 30 percent more. I would highly recommend MCD, they are professional and will get what you want at a price you can afford. Would highly recommend.
